Hi There! Welcome!

My name is Sarah, owner/photographer of Sarah Dawn Photography. SDP represents a dream-come-true for me, and I’m excited to help families in Broomfield, Westminster, and the surrounding areas capture their special moments and create keepsakes to last a lifetime.

My “why”... I love people! My calling or purpose in this life revolves around community and creating connections. Photography is one of many ways in which I can fulfill that passion. I’m active in my community and church, and love raising my family here in one of the most beautiful places on earth. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking/backpacking, camping, snowboarding, and more. I also enjoy baseball, and just relaxing with a cup of coffee or a favorite craft brew with my friends or husband.

My personal relationship with Jesus has been impactful and a guiding aspect in my life, which has literally lead to this moment, where you sit, reading these words and getting to know more about the photographer behind the camera.

So, what will YOUR experience be like?

Here at SDP, I’d like to get to know what you are looking for so I can personalize each session to your specific needs and desires. We will discuss style, locations and my favorite part, what to wear. We will create a unique session that best shows the personality of you and/or your family. Be it a lifestyle session in the comfort of your own home with your new baby, senior pictures that express your individuality or capturing milestones as your little ones grow. Once we finalize a date/time, I will send over your contract, a questionnaire and a link to hold your reservation. 

At each session you will be posed, but then guided into a more natural reaction you and/or your family normally have. I always encourage clients to come with creative poses or shots they like. This gives me an idea of who you are and what your style is but also helps my creative juices flow. Ultimately giving you an album unique to you and something you will be proud of. 

After your amazing session, I will deliver your viewable gallery in 2-5 days. This gallery will include two premium, final images, along with a selection of images from your shoot that are suitable for further editing/cropping. The two finalized images are intended to give you an idea of what the rest of your album will look like. From there, simply select the remaining images to complete your package. Then I make final edits and deliver your complete album within two weeks. Next comes the REALLY fun part... creating the tangible heirlooms and gifts for you to share! It’s easy to create gifts, albums and cards to celebrate special occasions and holidays straight from your gallery in my store. I have partnered with a professional lab to drop ship directly to you!
